Host Family Fun in Kaohsiung 高雄

Meet my friend Mack and I's host family the Yangs. The Yangs welcomed us into their home in Kaohsiung City (also pronounced Gāoxióng) for a weekend full of outdoorsy and foodie activities. Alex and Carol are some of the friendliest Taiwanese people I've met so far and certainly know how to host exchange students! The Yangs have two children, a 16 year old son and a 13 year old daughter (who was in Japan at the time we visited). In addition to Mack and I, the Yangs also had two Mongolian (so cool!) foreign exchange students living with them over the summer.

Note: Since this post has so many pictures I'll just stick to using place captions.
